Zenzinger Plays Partisan
Rachel Zenzinger is a leftist loony who would love nothing more than to take all of our cars away and make us ride bicycles everywhere like her hippy husband (based on conversations members of our staff have had with her). She is an important member of the Jeffco Democratic party. But as a city councilor representing the Citizens of Arvada she is supposed to remain nonpartisan. In regards to tonights Jeffco board of education tonight. Zenzinger had this to say about the censureship of republican board member Laura Boggs:
This makes us wonder, who is Rachel working for the constituents of her district or Cindy Stevenson and the Jeffco Dems?

- United Food and Commercial Workers, Local 7
- United Transportation Union
And let us not forget his support from Evil Hudak:

Tim Allport Seeks Election to State Legislature
Diversity of experience makes him best candidate for Colorado House District 27
ARVADA, Colo. (March 28, 2012) – Bringing a wealth of experience to the position, Tim Allport has formally declared his candidacy for this November’s election to become Colorado’s next representative to House District 27.
Allport, whose career includes positions in criminal justice, addictions counseling and mental health, believes the state legislature should give top priority to an economic environment that promotes expansion of good-paying jobs and an educational structure that paves the way for our children’s success.
“In the short-term, one of Colorado’s greatest resources is its pool of workers who are eager to contribute, and we need to nurture that resource,” Allport said. “In the long-term, we will ensure Colorado’s stability by preparing our children to become part of that pool of highly skilled and qualified workers.”
Allport has been highly active in the community on multiple levels, with a focus on political and labor issues. He has served as chairman of the Labor Initiative of the Colorado Democratic Party.
“I believe my life experiences have given me a solid and unique background to serve our district and the people of Colorado,” he said. “My work in corrections, addiction counseling, and mental health will help in my role as state representative as I advance public policy and improve the lives of Colorado residents.”
About Tim Allport
Tim AllPort moved to Jefferson County in 1985 to accept a job with the Federal Bureau of Prisons at the Federal Correctional Institution in Littleton. Beginning his career as a Correctional Officer, he was later promoted to Drug Treatment Specialist. In 2010, after serving for 25 years, he left the prison system to begin working as a State Certified Addictions Counselor. He currently serves on the Board of the Colorado Association of Addiction Professionals (www.caap.us, formerly SACC) where he chairs the Legislative and Recovery Month committees. Along the way, he has been heavily involved in various community, labor, and political organizations. He has served as president of his large homeowners association and as chairman of the Labor Initiative of the Colorado Democratic Party. Allport lives in Arvada with his wife Jennifer, an Arvada native who has worked in health care for the last 22 years. Their daughter, Alyana, is currently attending preschool in Arvada. Bob Fifer Not for Arvada
The elections for Arvada City Council are "so called" non-partisan election so I will refrain from using party references here, but it should be noted that the President said in 2010, "elections have consequences". Given that, I would like to take a moment to remind everyone about Colorado's last Governor. Mr. Ritter passed the "dirty dozen" basically these were tax increases which the then Governor called "fees" which made them acceptable. One of these fees required you to pay all of the back years to get a vehicle licensed. So if you had a trailer or a boat for example that you hadn't used in several years you would need to pay for all of the prior years licenses to get your boat/trailer licensed in the current year. This of course was so horrible that Governor Ritter didn't even try to get re-elected. Even he knew how rotten what he had done was to the people of Colorado.
What does this have to do with Bob Fifer and his upcoming election? In the vernacular of Napolean Bonaparte "A good sketch is better than a long speech". So I present exhibit A from Mr Fifer's own website, a picture of Governor Ritter and Bob Fifer. And I rest my case.
Bob Fifer also served a short stint with Historic Olde Town Arvada as their Director. He failed at running a business, and some have expressed concerns about his ability to handle a multimillion dollar budget.
